Equity and Opportunity

The foundation of all of the work undertaken by the Illinois P-20 Network is focused on our equity and opportunity objective. Examples of this work include: 

• Illinois Partnership of Educators for Inclusion and Equity (IPIE) in collaboration with the Northern Illinois University College of Education
• Illinois State Board of Education Career ConneCTEd Illinois Equity Promising Practices Workshop Series 
• Research projects that explore the distribution of results across multiple measures of equity 
• Identification of effective strategies to support and retain high quality and diverse educators
